The Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC) and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital (HBCH), Varanasi are units of the Tata Memorial Centre, which works under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Together they form one of the biggest cancer care and research set-ups in eastern Uttar Pradesh and treat thousands of patients every year.

The centre is now hiring for 3 project-based posts. These are contract jobs valid for 6 months, which can be extended based on your performance and the project's need. Science graduates, MSW holders and B.Sc Nursing candidates can apply for the post that matches their qualification.

Who Can Apply?

Research Assistant (Rs. 23,000/month)

• You must have a Graduate degree in Science.
• This post is under the Academic Fund (Project A/c No. 9299).

Medical Social Worker (Rs. 25,000/month)

• You must have a Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences (MSW) from a recognised university.
• You need at least 1 year of experience after MSW in the field of medical social work.
• This post is under the Integrated Comprehensive Palliative Care project.
• Walk-in date: Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

Nurse (Rs. 30,000/month)

• You must have a Basic or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.
• You need 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.
• You should be eligible to register with the Indian/State Nursing Council and your Hepatitis vaccination must be complete.
• Walk-in date: Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 30 years as on the walk-in interview date for all three posts.

Salary

• Research Assistant: Rs. 23,000 per month
• Medical Social Worker: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Nurse: Rs. 30,000 per month
• These are fixed monthly amounts paid from the project fund.

Selection Process
