Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) is conducting a Limited Departmental Examination (LDE) for 187 promotional posts across multiple state government departments. These are gazetted and non-gazetted posts open exclusively to eligible in-service government employees of Mizoram. The last date to apply online is 22 May 2026 (4:00 PM). Pay levels range from Level 6 to Level 10 of the Mizoram Pay Matrix.

Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) has released LDE (Gazetted Post) No. 3 of 2026–2027 and related notifications covering 11 different posts across departments including School Education, Land Revenue & Settlement, Social Welfare, Health, Transport, Judiciary, Excise & Narcotics, and Finance. All posts are promotional — only existing Mizoram government employees serving in designated feeder posts with the required years of regular service can apply. External or fresh candidates are not eligible.

Who Can Apply?

These are strictly promotional posts through Limited Departmental Examination. Only Mizoram government employees currently serving in the specified feeder posts are eligible.

Headmaster, Govt. Middle School

• Trained Graduate Middle School Teacher or Trained Graduate Middle School Hindi Teacher
• Minimum 5 years of regular service in the grade

Surveyor-I

• Currently serving as Surveyor in the department
• Minimum 5 years of regular service in the post

Circle Officer

• Currently serving as Anganwadi Worker
• Minimum 10 years of continuous service
• Must have passed HSLC (10th Class)
• Must have completed the State Anganwadi Training Course

Health Supervisor

• Currently serving as Health Worker
• Minimum 5 years of regular service

Enforcement Inspector

• Currently serving as Enforcement Sub-Inspector
• Minimum 5 years of regular service

Bench Clerk Grade-I

• Currently serving as Bench Clerk Grade-II
• Minimum 5 years of regular service

Bench Clerk Grade-II

• Currently serving as Bench Clerk Grade-III
• Minimum 3 years of regular service

Inspector / Stenographer Grade-II

• Currently serving as Sub-Inspector / Stenographer Grade-III
• Minimum 3 years of regular service
• Shorthand speed: 100 WPM

Stenographer Grade-I

• Currently serving as Stenographer Grade-II
• Minimum 5 years of regular service

Junior Grade, MFAS (Finance & Accounts Service)

• Currently serving as Audit & Accounts Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer
• Minimum 5 years of service in the grade
• Must have at least 5 years of remaining service before retirement
• Must be an Indian Citizen

Assistant Director of Survey / Assistant Survey Officer

• Currently serving in a designated feeder post in the Land Revenue & Settlement Department
• Required years of regular service as per department rules

Age Limit

• No separate age limit for this Limited Departmental Examination
• These are promotional posts — age is not a criterion for in-service candidates
• For Junior Grade MFAS: You must have at least 5 years of service remaining before superannuation

Salary

• Headmaster, Govt. Middle School: Pay Level 9 of the Mizoram Pay Matrix
• Other posts fall under Pay Level 6 to Level 10 depending on the post
• Plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other allowances as per Mizoram Government rules

Application Fee

• Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): No fee — fully exempted
• Fee amount for others: As specified in individual post notifications (contact MPSC helpline for details)
• Payment mode: UPI only (using the mobile number registered during One Time Registration)
• Note: Fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances

Selection Process

Selection is through a Limited Departmental Examination (LDE) conducted by Mizoram PSC:

1. Written Examination (LDE): Based on official syllabus available on MPSC website. Only eligible in-service candidates who pass scrutiny can appear.
2. Document Verification: Candidates must verify their service records and eligibility documents.

How to Apply

1. Go to the MPSC online portal at mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
2. Register for One Time Registration (OTR) if you have not done so already — you must register by 4:00 PM on 22 May 2026.
3. Log in with your OTR credentials and fill in the online application form for the relevant post.
4. Upload your documents including service certificate and eligibility proof.
5. Pay the application fee via UPI using your registered mobile number.
6. Submit the form and verify that your application is actually submitted after payment.
7. Save the confirmation and take a printout for your records.
