Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam has released a notification dated 12 May 2026 for a temporary research position at the School of International Relations and Politics. The selected candidate will work on a research project titled "Understanding International Order Transition and Peaceful Change in the Indo-Pacific". This is a short-term engagement of only 5 months, ideal for postgraduates who want hands-on exposure to a funded research project at one of Kerala's top universities.

Essential Qualification

• MA in International Relations with a minimum of 55% marks
• Good analytical and communication skills in English

• Experience of working in an international research project, OR
• UGC NET qualification, OR
• Familiarity with Indo-Pacific Affairs

Salary

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 15,000 per month
• Duration of appointment: 5 months (short-term, project-based)

Selection Process
