Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam has released a notification dated 12 May 2026 for a temporary research position at the School of International Relations and Politics. The selected candidate will work on a research project titled "Understanding International Order Transition and Peaceful Change in the Indo-Pacific". Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director with the research study on Indo-Pacific order transition
- Collect and organise primary and secondary data from journals, reports, and online sources
- Prepare literature reviews, summaries, and short notes on assigned themes
- Help draft research papers, working papers, and conference presentations
- Maintain proper records of references, citations, and project files
- Attend project meetings and seminars at the School of International Relations and Politics
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
MA in International Relations with minimum 55% marks
Preferred Qualification
UGC NET / experience in international research project / familiarity with Indo-Pacific Affairs

Analytical skills, communication skills in English, research aptitude
