The Meghalaya Natural and Organic Farming Society for Livelihood and Innovation in Agriculture (MEGNOLIA) has invited applications for 4 Technical Assistant (District) posts on a one-year contract, which may be renewed based on performance. These are field-based roles that support government schemes, organic farming, and rural livelihood projects at the district level. Preference will be given to local candidates from each district. The posts are spread across four districts:

• East Garo Hills
• West Garo Hills
• East Jaintia Hills
• West Khasi Hills

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Horticulture.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in implementing government schemes, rural development programs, organic farming initiatives, or livelihood projects.
• Skills: Field coordination with farmers, FPOs/SHGs, and community institutions; project monitoring, documentation, reporting, and data management; good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preference will be given to local candidates from the respective district. Meghalaya citizens living outside the state with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 28 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• You will get a monthly salary of Rs. 22,100 plus other allowances.
• House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be added additionally as admissible from time to time.

Selection Process

The selection is done in two stages:

1. Written/Assignment Test: Covers Subject Matter Knowledge, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend a personal interview.

Both the written test and interview are held only in Shillong. No TA/DA is paid for attending.
