Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a B.P.Ed / B.P.E.S / B.P.E degree with participation at Inter-University, State, or National level in the respective sport, OR a graduation degree in any discipline with a diploma in Sports Coaching for that sport, OR a graduation degree with National-level participation in the respective sport.
• Experience: Candidates with at least 2 years of coaching experience in the respective sport will be preferred (desirable, not mandatory).
• Note: You will only be considered for the sport(s) you apply for. If you want to apply for more than one sport, you must submit a separate application for each one.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on the closing date, 10 August 2026.

Salary

• Selected coaches will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 15,000 per month for each of the 6 posts.
• This is a fixed monthly payment on contract — no separate DA, HRA, or other allowances are mentioned in the notification.
• The engagement is for 8 months in an academic year (4 months in the odd semester and 4 months in the even semester), and can be ended by either side with 15 days' notice.

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the walk-in interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

MANIT selects coaches purely through a walk-in interview — there is no written test:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 12 August 2026 from 9:30 AM at the Institute Committee Room. You will be assessed on your technical proficiency, coaching skills, practical knowledge of the sport, communication ability, and overall suitability for the role.
