Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is one of the leading government medical colleges in Delhi, located on Bahadur Shah Zafar (BSZ) Marg in the heart of the city. It runs along with Lok Nayak Hospital, G.B. Pant Hospital and Guru Nanak Eye Centre. The Pathology Department, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has opened 4 Senior Resident posts on an adhoc basis.

A Senior Residency here gives you strong clinical and teaching experience at a busy tertiary-care teaching hospital. Selection is done through a walk-in interview only, so there is no long online process to follow. Doctors who have finished their postgraduation in Pathology and hold a valid Delhi Medical Council registration can take part.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS with a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in Pathology from a recognised university.
• Registration: You must have a valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration at the time of joining.
• Documents on attempts: You will also need to show an attempts certificate along with your mark sheets and degree at the interview.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of the interview.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years and OBC candidates get 3 years. OBC candidates must submit a certificate from the Notified/Competent Authority of the Govt of NCT of Delhi.

Salary

• Pay will be as per government rules for adhoc Senior Residents.
• You will get leave as per the rules of the college.
• The post is for a fixed tenure of 44 days or till regular Senior Residents join, whichever is earlier.

Application Fee

• The notification does not mention any application fee for this walk-in interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through a walk-in interview in two steps:

1. Document Verification: Reporting and checking of original documents from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
2. Interview: Personal interview from 12:00 noon onwards at the venue.

In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction of court will be Delhi/New Delhi. The Dean, MAMC can amend or cancel this advertisement without giving any reason.

How to Apply

1. Reach the venue: Departmental Library, Room No. 58, Ground Floor, Pathology Block, MAMC, BSZ Marg, New Delhi-110002.
2. Come on 8 July 2026 (Wednesday) between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM for document checking.
3. Bring your filled application along with all original certificates and one set of attested photocopies (age, qualification, attempts, mark sheets, degree, DMC registration, category and experience certificate).
4. Carry all your publications in hard copy and two passport size photographs.
5. Wait for the interview that starts at 12:00 noon.
