Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA), based at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai, has released advertisement number MahaRERA/PrA/250/2026 dated 5 May 2026 for 11 contract positions across five different consultant roles. Selection is purely through interview — there is no written exam. The roles include Senior Finance Consultant, Finance Consultant, Technical Consultant, Junior Legal Consultant, and Administrative Officer.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Finance Consultant (1 post):

• Qualification: Degree in Accountancy/Commerce from a recognised university + Chartered Accountant (CA) Final exam passed.
• Experience: 2 years experience in accounting in a Government office, Public Sector Undertaking or Public Utility institution.
• Knowledge of accounting procedure systems, computer literacy, good written and verbal communication skills.

Finance Consultant (2 posts):

• Qualification: Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/Statistics. M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Second Level qualified candidates preferred.
• Experience: 3 years experience in accounting in Government office, PSU or Public Utility institution.
• Computer literacy and good communication skills required.

Technical Consultant (5 posts):

• Qualification: B.E. Civil or B.Arch or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Experience: Retired Assistant Engineer (Civil), Sub-Engineer or Architect from Government/Semi-Government institution from Town Planning & Valuation Department, with 5 years or more experience at the equivalent post.
• Computer skills (MS Office) required.

Junior Legal Consultant (2 posts):

• Qualification: LLB degree from a recognised university.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a legal consultant, in Government/Semi-Government/PSU/Corporation, OR 2 years as a court advocate, OR minimum 1 year work experience at MahaRERA after passing degree.
• Computer proficiency and good legal drafting skills required.

Administrative Officer (1 post):

• Qualification: Graduation from a recognised university.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in administration at Group-A level.
• Computer skills (MS Office) required.

Age Limit

• Senior Finance Consultant, Finance Consultant, Junior Legal Consultant: Maximum age 38 years
• Technical Consultant, Administrative Officer: Maximum age 62 years

Salary

• Senior Finance Consultant: Rs. 80,000 per month (consolidated)
• Finance Consultant: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated)
• Junior Legal Consultant: Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated)
• Technical Consultant & Administrative Officer: As per Government Resolution No. Sankirn-2715/Pr.Kr.100(Bhag-1)/13 dated 8 September 2023 (Pay minus Pension basis)

Selection Process

Selection is interview-based — there is no written exam:

1. Application Screening: All emailed applications will be reviewed for eligibility.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Date, time and venue will be communicated separately.

Note: No travel allowance will be given to candidates appearing for the interview.

• Handle finance, accounting, audit and budget work as per role (Finance Consultants)
