Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial appointment: The first term is 44 days. An extension depends on a satisfactory work and conduct report from the department head and your written request, or ends when a regular Junior Resident is appointed, whichever happens earlier.
• Contract status: This engagement gives you no right to regularisation or permanent absorption. Either side may end the contract with 10 days’ notice or salary in place of notice.
• Joining: Selected doctors must join immediately. The hospital will not allow an extension for joining, and failure to join cancels the appointment offer automatically.
• Private practice: You cannot undertake private practice of any kind during this engagement.
• No-objection certificates: Doctors who accept the offer and join will not receive an NOC for any purpose, including a passport or visa.
• Leave: Unused leave cannot carry forward to the next month. The notice restricts leave to the monthly entitlement specified for this contract.
• Interview arrangements: No travel or daily allowance is payable. Interviews may continue on later working days if applications are numerous, excluding Sundays and holidays.
• Hospital discretion: The hospital may change the number of posts, amend or cancel the interview arrangements, withdraw the advertisement or leave posts unfilled. Other service conditions follow Delhi government orders; disputes fall within Delhi or New Delhi courts.
