The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie is the top training institute in India for IAS, IPS and other All India Services and Central Group A officers. The Academy wants to engage a Medical Officer at its Medical Centre on a contract basis for 11 months, which can be extended further if your services are needed. There is no written exam — selection is done through an online interview. Doctors who have completed their MBBS and compulsory internship can apply.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualifications

• Degree: You must have an MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
• Registration: You must be registered with the State or Central Medical Council.
• Internship: You must have completed the one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.

Desirable (Extra Advantage)

• At least 1 year of work experience as a doctor.
• An MD, PG Degree or Diploma along with the MBBS degree.

Age Limit

• Your age should not exceed 45 years as on the date of interview.
• Eligibility (including qualifications and council registration) will be checked as on the last date of application, which is 9 June 2026.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
• If you travel on official duty, you will get travel expenses at rates equal to Level 10 (Group A) of the pay matrix.
• Income tax (TDS) will be deducted as per government rules and a TDS certificate will be given to you.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following steps:

1. Document Verification: Your certificates of qualification, internship, experience and Medical Council registration are checked before the interview. Applications with incomplete documents will be rejected.
2. Interview: If you meet the requirements, you will attend an interview online through a Zoom link provided by the Academy. No TA/DA is given for the interview.

2. Attach self-attested photocopies of your certificates — qualification, internship, experience and Medical Council registration.

• Provide general duty medical care to officers, trainees and staff at the Academy Medical Centre
• Attend emergency call duty whenever required by the Medical Officer In-charge
• Perform night shift duty and field duty from time to time as assigned
• Examine patients, prescribe treatment and refer cases to specialists when needed
• Keep proper medical records and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Mark attendance through the Facial Recognition System and follow Academy working hours
• Handle other medical or office work assigned by the Academy from time to time
