Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (JUVNL) has issued Job Contract Notice No. 01/2026 for contractual engagement of a Medical Consultant. The work is for JUVNL and its subsidiary companies, mainly around the medical facilities at Nigam Colony, Kusai, Doranda and SRHP Sikidiri. The contract is initially for one year and may be extended if the Nigam needs the service and the competent authority approves it.

This post is for practical medical service, not a classroom or advisory-only assignment. The notice lists outpatient care, emergency response, patient stabilization, medical consultation and coordination of medical facilities across Nigam sites. Selection Process (No Written Exam)

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

Contract terms are also important. The engagement can be ended by either side with one-month prior notice, and it may also end if a regular appointment is made for the Medical Officer post. This means the role is useful for retired doctors who are comfortable with fixed-term contractual service.
