Invest UP is hiring 25 Chief Minister Udyami Mitra (Investment Facilitation Officers) on a contract basis across Uttar Pradesh. Invest UP, the Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has released Advertisement No. IUP/242/Udyami Mitra/2026-27 for 25 Udyami Mitra posts. 10 additional candidates will be kept on a waiting list. Selected candidates will be posted across Uttar Pradesh at the District and Industrial Authority level to support investors through the entire project life-cycle.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• MBA (Full-Time) in Business Administration with minimum 60% marks from a recognised College / Deemed University / University

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills in Hindi and English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork and travel

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of foreign languages (added advantage)
• Familiarity with government processes, policies and approvals

Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of post-MBA experience in roles such as Management Trainee, Business Analyst, Consulting, Banking, Market Research, or customer-facing roles in public/private sector

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 25 years
• Maximum age: 40 years
• Age will be calculated as on the last date of application (16 May 2026)

Salary & Compensation

• Fixed Salary: Rs. 30,000 per month
• House Rent Allowance: Rs. 10,000 per month
• Investor Facilitation Allowance: Rs. 10,000 per month
• Travel & Field Allowance: Rs. 20,000 per month
• One-time Tablet Support: Rs. 15,000
• Total in-hand: Approximately Rs. 70,000 per month

Engagement Terms

• Contractual position for 1 year, extendable based on performance
• This is a full-time role — no parallel employment or education permitted
• This role does not constitute permanent government employment
• Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Invest UP at organisation level and District Magistrate at district level

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Online Application: Submit application through the Invest UP career portal.
2. Screening and Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on eligibility and experience.
3. Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written test.
4. Personal Interview: Candidates clearing the written exam will be called for a personal interview.
5. Final Selection: Final selection will be based on overall merit (written exam + interview).

• Facilitate investors across all stages of the investment lifecycle including project conceptualization, approvals and commercialization
• Conduct field visits and site inspections with prospective and existing investors
• Provide local intelligence and advisory support on land availability, infrastructure and policy frameworks
• Assist investors in filing investment proposals, obtaining statutory approvals and land acquisition processes
• Coordinate with District Administration, Industrial Development Authorities (UPSIDA, NOIDA, YEIDA) and line departments
• Support investors in navigating digital platforms like Investment Mitra and Nivesh Sarathi
• Participate in District Udyog Bandhu meetings and assist in grievance redressal
• Track and upload investor issues and progress on designated portals, and prepare periodic reports for policy improvements
