Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) is recruiting a Project Executive Officer for its Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell. The role connects the institute’s intellectual property work with technology transfer, innovation and research administration. You would work with faculty, researchers, inventors, industry partners and external IPR professionals through a contractual appointment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial appointment: The contract runs for two years. The post is temporary and the appointment is purely contractual.
• Extension: IIT Kanpur may extend the engagement based on your performance and the institute’s needs. The notice ties any continuation to these conditions.
• Travel costs: IIT Kanpur will not pay for travel to attend the interview. You should account for this when making travel arrangements.
• Communication: If you do not meet the minimum qualification and work-experience requirements, the institute will not contact you or call you for an interview.
