Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is hiring a Project Consultant in its Department of Physics for RASPAC, a research project on reconfigurable and scalable photonic-qubit architecture for quantum computing. The work is supported by T-Hub, IIT Delhi under the Department of Science and Technology's National Quantum Mission, so the role sits at the meeting point of electronics, integrated photonics and experimental quantum technology. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The engagement runs until the stated project end or until the project closes, whichever happens first. Continuation is therefore linked directly to RASPAC.
• Technical scope: You may work with new experimental setups, equipment installation, electronics and integrated-photonics systems while supporting the project's main aims.
• Research output: The role includes helping the team move suitable results towards patents, publications or both, depending on what emerges during implementation.
• Student guidance: The consultant may co-supervise postgraduate and undergraduate theses and interns whose work matches the RASPAC research area.
• Enterprise focus: The notification expects initiative towards setting up a start-up based on project outcomes, making technology translation part of the assignment.
• Reservation preference: SC and ST candidates receive preference when qualifications and experience are equal.
• Interview travel: IIT Roorkee will not pay TA or DA for attending the interview. The institute will share the schedule only with shortlisted candidates.
