Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project setting: The project links post-quantum cryptography with secure and efficient edge computing. This title describes the research theme, while the notice does not provide a separate list of daily duties for this appointment.
• Sponsor: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, funds this research project. The Mathematics department at IIT KGP is the host department for your assignment.
• Tenure: The appointment lasts for up to 24 months or until the project ends, whichever happens first. The project’s end can therefore bring the assignment to a close before the full tenure is completed.
• Nature of engagement: This is a temporary assignment tied to the research project. The advertisement identifies it through project code R/DQC and does not describe a regular institute appointment.
• Consideration of applications: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that you will be called for an interview. Keep this distinction in mind when considering the opportunity.
