IIT Indore Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) is recruiting management professionals for its Office of Alumni and Corporate Relations (ACR). These contractual roles connect the institute with companies, donors, trusts and foundations, supporting partnerships around its research and institutional priorities.

The notice covers engagement and operations within the same office. One role concentrates on building support and long-term relationships, while the other turns funded commitments into projects that teams can deliver and report on.

Posts and Disciplines

• Assistant General Manager/Chief Manager (Engagement): This is the outward-facing partnership role. You will connect industry and philanthropic interests with opportunities at IIT Indore and help the institute develop lasting donor relationships.
• Senior Manager (Operations): This role focuses on project delivery and coordination. You will work across internal departments and with donors to keep funded activities organised, address dependencies and support timely execution.

Post-wise Duties

Assistant General Manager/Chief Manager (Engagement)

You will develop a fundraising strategy that brings together the institute’s priorities and the interests of corporate houses, trusts and foundations. The work includes studying the corporate social responsibility (CSR) environment, identifying potential partners and presenting IIT Indore’s science and technology strengths to them.

Inside the institute, you will work with faculty and other key teams to understand research priorities and shape opportunities for donor participation. You will also track market information, take part in networking events and industry forums, and work with the team towards annual fundraising targets.

Senior Manager (Operations)

You will turn funded activities into project plans with clear milestones, resource needs and delivery expectations. This includes tracking costs and progress, working through risks and dependencies, and keeping donors and other stakeholders informed.

The role also covers project governance and change management, so teams can respond to changes while keeping delivery on track. You will use feedback from engagement teams and donors, work with faculty on research-linked opportunities, and help departments coordinate their work across the project life cycle.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial term: Both appointments start with a one-year contract. An extension depends on your performance and the institute’s requirements.
• Employment status: These are contractual appointments. They do not create a claim to regular employment at the institute.
• Travel and working hours: Both roles call for willingness to travel and work beyond normal office hours when commitments need it.
• Recruitment decision: IIT Indore may fill the positions or decide not to fill them.
