The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) has invited applications for one Research Associate-I position under a Department of Science & Technology-Cognitive Science Research Initiative (DST-CSRI) project titled "Understanding the Relationship between Circadian Rhythms, Motor Learning, and Plasticity for Establishing Novel Chronobiological Markers of Cognitive Functions". There is no written exam — selection is based purely on your academic record, research experience, and an online interview. This role suits candidates with a strong background in chronobiology, neuroscience or molecular biology research.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or an equivalent degree, OR 3 years of research, teaching, design and development experience (in life science and related areas) after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech.
• Publication: At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• Preferred Experience: 2 or more years of post-Ph.D. research in chronobiology, with at least 2 first-author publications in related fields, and hands-on experience with RStudio, SPSS, GraphPad PRISM, RT-PCR and ELISA techniques.
• Job Duties: You will run experiments using Actigraphy, MEQ, TMS, EEG and ELISA, handle project documentation, analyse data, and write manuscripts.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 35 years old as on the last day of application.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC candidates get relaxation as per standard government norms.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 58,000 per month plus 30% HRA (HRA is provided only if you do not take hostel facility).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on your profile and an interview:

2. Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email and interviewed online, tentatively by early September 2026.
