IISER Bhopal E Flow Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER Bhopal) is recruiting project staff in its Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. The work belongs to the project Environmental Flow Assessment for the Kosi, Gandak and Mahananda Rivers, bringing together river modelling, satellite-image analysis and field surveys.
The department is based at Bhauri, Bhopal. These are temporary project appointments with an initial fixed term, and the advertised research work includes surveys of river cross-sections and topography as well as analysis of the resulting data.
Posts and Disciplines

Project Associate I and Senior Project Associate

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial tenure: The appointment lasts one year. An extension up to September 2028 is possible, subject to satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Project Associate I: MSc/M.Tech in Geology/Geosciences, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics, or Computer Science/Engineering from a recognized university/institute. Senior Project Associate: a doctoral degree in a listed subject, or the specified master's qualification with the notice's R&D experience conditions. Field Assistant: graduate in any discipline with field-work experience, Excel data handling and MS Office knowledge.
