IIEST Shibpur JRF Physics Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIEST Shibpur) is recruiting a Junior Research Fellow for its Department of Physics in Howrah. Service Conditions and Caveats

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
M.Sc. in Physics or an allied discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10; SC/ST/PwD applicants need at least 55% or 6.0 CGPA. GATE/NET qualification is mandatory.
Preferred Qualification
Prior knowledge of quantum information and computation or cold-atomic systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
