ICMR-NIIRNCD Jodhpur is hiring 6 project staff for a stillbirth implementation research project. The posts include Project Research Scientist-II, Project Nurse-III, and Project Technical Support-III. The Indian Council of Medical Research — National Institute for Implementation Research on Non-Communicable Diseases (ICMR-NIIRNCD), Jodhpur, has invited applications for 6 project human resource positions under the project titled "Implementation Research to develop an optimized model of comprehensive intervention package and delivery strategies to reduce stillbirth." Who Can Apply?

Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Public Health (including integrated PG degrees), with 3 years of post-qualification experience in maternal health research and field work in tribal population; OR PhD

Project Nurse-III

• Qualification: Four-year Nursing course (B.Sc Nursing or equivalent)

Project Technical Support-III

• Qualification: Graduate in Science / BAMS / BHMS with 3 years of experience; OR Post-Graduate in Zoology / Biochemistry / Sociology / Life Science / MPH

Qualifications must be from a recognized Institution or University. Experience certificates must clearly state the nature of work with dates.

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II: Not more than 40 years
• Project Nurse-III: Not more than 30 years
• Project Technical Support-III: Not more than 35 years
• Age as on: Date of walk-in / written test (9 April 2026)
• Age relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC candidates, retrenched government employees, departmental candidates, and ex-servicemen as per Central Government / DoPT / ICMR rules

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA (fixed, no other allowances)
• Project Nurse-III: Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA (fixed, no other allowances)
• Project Technical Support-III: Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA (fixed, no other allowances)

These are project-specific rates. No Provident Fund, Leave Travel Concession, or Medical benefits are provided since these are temporary positions.

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview / Written Test: Eligible candidates who report on time will attend the walk-in interview. If more than 30 candidates appear, a written test will be conducted first
2. Written Test Qualifying Marks: SC/ST — 35%, UR/OBC/EWS — 40%
3. Shortlisting for Interview: Top candidates from the written test will be called for interview:
   • Project Research Scientist-II — Up to 8 candidates
   • Project Nurse-III — Up to 10 candidates
   • Project Technical Support-III — Up to 15 candidates
4. Interview: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test and interview. If fewer than 30 candidates appear, selection will be based on interview marks alone
