ICAR-IASRI is a premier research institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. It is located at Library Avenue, Pusa Campus, New Delhi. The institute is now looking for qualified IT professionals to work on the FASAL 2.O project, which deals with agricultural statistics and forecasting. The appointment will be on a contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.

Who Can Apply?

IT Professional-II

• 3-Year Diploma after 10+2 in CS/IT/EC with 4 years' experience, OR
• BCA with 4 years' experience, OR
• B.Sc. in CS/IT with 4 years' experience, OR
• Graduation + 1-Year Computer Diploma with 4 years' experience, OR
• B.Tech. in CSE/IT with 2 years' experience, OR
• Masters in CS/IT/Software Engineering/Information Security/Computer Engineering/MCA/M.Tech. or equivalent with 1 year experience, OR
• Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application or equivalent

Experience required: Web-site and portal development using ASP, .NET, Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML5, Bootstrap, Web Services, Photoshop, Corel Draw; or mobile app development for Android/iOS.

IT Professional-III

• B.Tech. in CSE/IT with 4 years' experience, OR
• Master degree in CS/IT/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Information Security/MCA/M.Tech. or equivalent with 2 years' experience, OR
• Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application or equivalent

Experience required: Web-site and portal development using ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML5, Bootstrap, Web Services; mobile app development; project management; documentation and reporting.

Young Professional-II (IT)

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/IT/Computer Science/AI/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics with 1 year experience, OR
• Master in Computer Application/IT/Computer Science/AI/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics

Experience required: Web-site designing, development and management; database designing and development; report writing; Photoshop, Corel Draw, desktop publishing.

Age Limit

• IT Professional-II: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview
• IT Professional-III: Maximum 40 years as on the date of interview
• Young Professional-II (IT): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 45 years as on the date of interview

Age relaxation:

• SC/ST/Women candidates: 5 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation

Salary

• IT Professional-II: Consolidated Rs. 40,000/- per month + 3% annual increment over base salary after every 1 year
• IT Professional-III: Consolidated Rs. 50,000/- per month + 3% annual increment over base salary after every 1 year
• Young Professional-II (IT): Consolidated Rs. 42,000/- per month

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and experience. Maximum 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for interview.
2. Interview via Video Conferencing: Scheduled on 17 April 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards. You can give the interview in English or Hindi.

• Assist in content writing and management for web portals and CMS/LMS platforms
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, and web services for the project
• Follow documentation and reporting protocols for project deliverables
