ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), Nagpur has issued Corrigendum-1 (File No. GTC/DR Gin Plant/YP-I/26-27/73, dated 14 May 2026) extending the Walk-in-Interview date for the Young Professional-I (YP-I) post from 20 May 2026 to 22 May 2026. Post Details: - Post: Young Professional-I (YP-I) - Number of Posts: 1 (One) - Work Place: Ginning Training Centre (GTC), ICAR-CIRCOT, Nagpur - Walk-in-Interview Date & Time: 22 May 2026, 11:00 AM onwards (Extended via Corrigendum-1) - Fellowship: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated) - Duration: Till 31 March 2027 (contractual, extendable by one more year based on project needs and performance) - Age Limit: 21 to 45 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per GoI rules) Essential Qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Engineering/Technology Desirable Qualification: Working experience in the relevant field from a recognized institute/laboratory How to Appear: Candidates should appear for the walk-in interview with a typed application addressed to the Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai, along with detailed bio-data affixed with a recent passport-size photograph, self-attested photocopies of certificates (age, qualification, experience), and all original testimonials for verification. Candidates must report one hour prior to the scheduled time. No TA/DA will be paid. Note: Government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate from their current employer. This is a purely contractual and temporary engagement with no claim for regular appointment or absorption in ICAR.

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the DR Gin Plant at the Ginning Training Centre
• Support cotton ginning research, training programmes, and field demonstrations
• Handle technical work related to ginning machinery, instrumentation, and processing
• Maintain laboratory and training records, and prepare technical reports
• Help training officers in conducting hands-on sessions for industry participants
• Support routine engineering and technology tasks assigned by the project in-charge
• Coordinate with senior scientists on data collection and project deliverables
