ICAR-CIRCOT Young Professional-I Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Ginning Training Centre (GTC) of the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), Nagpur, has invited applications for 1 Young Professional-I post on a purely contractual basis. There is no written exam — selection is through a walk-in interview only. The engagement is initially till 31 March 2027 and can be extended by another year based on performance and project needs.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Engineering / Technology from a recognised institute.
• Desirable Qualification: Working experience in the relevant field from a recognised institute or laboratory.
• NOC required: If you are already employed in a Government Organisation, you must produce a No Objection Certificate from your present employer.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age relaxation will be given as per GOI rules for reserved category candidates.

Salary

• A consolidated fellowship of Rs. 30,000 per month.
• No other allowances. The engagement is purely contractual.

Duration of Engagement

• Initial engagement: till 31 March 2027.
• Extendable to a maximum of one more year based on project needs and performance.
• The engagement is co-terminus with the project and can be terminated at any time.
• Selected candidate will not be entitled to any claim for regular appointment or absorption in ICAR.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on a single-stage walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 20 May 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ginning Training Centre, ICAR-CIRCOT, Amravati Road, P.O. Wadi, Nagpur - 440023, Maharashtra.
2. Document Verification: Report at least one hour before the scheduled time with all original documents for verification.

Interview Venue

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the DR Gin Plant at the Ginning Training Centre
• Support cotton ginning research, training programmes, and field demonstrations
• Handle technical work related to ginning machinery, instrumentation, and processing
• Maintain laboratory and training records, and prepare technical reports
• Help training officers in conducting hands-on sessions for industry participants
• Support routine engineering and technology tasks assigned by the project in-charge
• Coordinate with senior scientists on data collection and project deliverables
