ICAR-CIRCOT Young Professional-I Recruitment 2026 — 2 Posts

The ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), located at Adenwala Road, Matunga, Mumbai, has opened 2 contractual positions for Young Professional-I through a walk-in interview in hybrid mode. The engagement is for one year, which can be extended up to a total of three years (1+1+1) based on performance and institute requirement. This is not a permanent or regular government appointment — it is a purely contractual engagement. Freshers with the required graduation can also apply for the CBPD post.

Who Can Apply?

For Young Professional-I (Administration):

• Essential Qualification: You must be a graduate with at least 60% marks in B.Com, BBA, or BBS from a recognised university or college.
• Desirable: Minimum one year of experience in the relevant field; knowledge of Computer and Tally software is preferred.

For Young Professional-I (CBPD):

• Essential Qualification: Graduate in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Agriculture — OR — a Diploma holder in relevant Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, or Technology from a recognised institution.
• Desirable: Experience in preparation and characterization of nanoparticles.

Other Conditions:

• If you are currently working in a government organisation, you need to bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your present employer on the day of interview.
• All candidates must bring original documents (age proof, qualification certificates, experience certificates, testimonials) for verification at the interview.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old as on the closing date of application (5 May 2026).
• SC/ST candidates: Age relaxation of 5 years
• OBC candidates: Age relaxation of 3 years
• PH (Persons with Disability) candidates: Age relaxation of 10 years

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000 per month.
• This is a fixed consolidated amount — no separate allowances are provided.
• TA/DA will be paid only for official domestic tours as per ICAR rules. No TA/DA for appearing in the interview.
• Income tax and other applicable taxes will be deducted at source before monthly payment.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview — No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in interview in hybrid mode. There is no written exam.

2. Walk-in Interview: Appear in person at ICAR-CIRCOT, Matunga, Mumbai on 7 May 2026. Administration post interview at 11:00 AM; CBPD post interview at 2:30 PM. Bring a typed application, bio-data with passport size photo, and self-attested copies of all certificates.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates for age, qualification, experience, and testimonials must be produced at the interview. The Director's decision is final and binding.
