ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has issued a combined notice for the Part Time Medical Officer post. Salary

• Consolidated salary is Rs. 40,000 per month, all inclusive.
• The amount may be revised annually by not more than 5% on the base value after each completed year of engagement, up to a maximum of 3 years.
• TDS will be deducted as applicable under Income Tax rules.

Work Terms and Duties

• Working hours: Minimum 2 hours per day and minimum 3 days per week, or longer if mutually agreed.
• Initial period: One year, extendable based on performance and requirement.
• Maximum period: Engagement cannot continue beyond 3 years in total.
• Termination: Either side may end the engagement with one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu of notice.
• No TA/DA: No travel allowance is admissible for interview or duty unless specifically approved.

Main duties: the PTMO will handle outdoor medical treatment for regular employees and their family members, provide consultation to research staff, young professionals and students not covered under other medical benefits, and attend emergency health incidents on campus. The notice also mentions help with health advisory, screening, awareness activities, health camps, vaccination drives, and wellness initiatives.

Attendance and payment: monthly attendance will be maintained by the institute and certified by the designated officer before salary release. Payment is linked to actual attendance, and absence without prior intimation may lead to termination.
