The Jal Shakti Vibhag, Jaisinghpur Division, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh has invited applications to engage 26 para workers for operating and maintaining various water supply schemes under its jurisdiction. This engagement follows the Para Worker Policy framed by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, and covers three posts — Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, and Multipurpose Worker. Who Can Apply?

For Para Pump Operator:

• You must have passed 10th class (Matriculation).
• You need an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, or Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic trade — or an equivalent certificate under the Government's Skill Development Scheme.

For Para Fitter:

• You must have passed 10th class (Matriculation).
• You need an ITI certificate in the Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognized institute, or an equivalent certificate under the Skill Development Scheme.

For Multipurpose Worker:

• You must have passed 8th class (Middle school) from a recognized school.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old.
• The cut-off date for age, qualification, and experience is 31 July 2026.

Salary

• Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter get a monthly honorarium of Rs. 7,100.
• Multipurpose Worker gets a monthly honorarium of Rs. 6,000.
• This is an honorarium-based engagement (six hours per day) and not a regular salaried government post, and no TA/DA is paid for attending the selection process.

Selection Process

Your selection will be based on a total of 10 marks, calculated from:

1. Educational Qualification Marks
2. BPL Category Benefit (if applicable)
3. Relevant Work Experience
4. Skill Test
5. Physical Test

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the skill test and physical test. If you apply for more than one post, you must submit a separate application form for each post. Applications that arrive after the deadline or are found incomplete will be rejected outright, and the department will not be responsible for any postal delay.
