The Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Tissa (under Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag) has issued an engagement notice for 10 Para Worker posts — Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker — to support water supply operations in the Tissa division of Chamba district. This engagement follows approval communicated through the office of the Engineer-in-Chief, Jal Shakti Bhawan, Shimla. These are purely part-time engagements of 6 duty hours per day, and the number of posts may be adjusted as per government orders from time to time. Who Can Apply?

Only Bonafide Himachali candidates are eligible to apply for these posts. Qualification requirements differ by post as shown below:

Para Pump Operator (Rs. 7,100/month)

• You need 10th pass along with an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Pump Operator trade. A skill development scheme diploma in these trades is also accepted.

Para Fitter (Rs. 7,100/month)

• You need 10th pass along with an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade. A skill development scheme diploma is also accepted.

Multipurpose Worker (Rs. 6,000/month)

• You need to have passed at least 8th class from a government-recognised school.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on 2 July 2026.

Salary

• Para Pump Operator: Rs. 7,100 per month honorarium
• Para Fitter: Rs. 7,100 per month honorarium
• Multipurpose Worker: Rs. 6,000 per month honorarium
• These are part-time honorarium posts with 6 duty hours per day, not regular pay-scale positions, and no other allowances are mentioned in the notice.

Selection Process

Selection will be made without any written exam:

1. Merit Assessment: Candidates are evaluated on their educational qualification marks, technical qualification, experience and category benefits, as per departmental recruitment rules.
2. Document Verification: You must submit self-attested copies of all required certificates along with your application. Incomplete applications will be rejected at this stage.
