HCK Office Attendant Recruitment 2026: Overview

High Court of Kerala (HCK) is recruiting Office Attendants through direct recruitment for its establishment in Kochi. This is a regular court-support appointment under the High Court service rules. A key feature is the ranked list, which can also be used for openings that arise while the list remains valid.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Ranked-list validity: The list remains active for at least one year from the date it takes effect. It can continue until a fresh list is published or two years pass, whichever happens first.
  • Reservation: Appointments follow the applicable Kerala State and Subordinate Services reservation rules. The notice also provides a benchmark-disability reservation within the Office Attendant category.
  • Claims in your form: State every claim in the appropriate application field. The court will not consider a benefit later if you did not claim it when applying.
  • Accuracy: False information or hiding relevant facts can lead to cancellation. If the court discovers such an issue after appointment, your service can also be ended.
  • Provisional admission: Receiving an admission ticket does not mean the court has finally accepted your claims. Your application remains subject to the court checking the information you supplied.
  • Exam-centre choice: Choose your preferred centre carefully because requests to change it will not be accepted. The court can add or remove centres and allot a different centre when needed.
  • Conduct: Canvassing can cancel your candidature. Misconduct, malpractice or using an altered admission ticket can also lead to disqualification or a ban on future applications.
  • Changes to the drive: The High Court can modify or cancel this notification. If it cancels the notification, the paid application fee will be returned to the designated bank account.
  • Communication: Keep track of notices in your recruitment profile and the messages sent by SMS or email. Contact the recruitment cell if you cannot access your admission ticket or call letter.

Application Submission Notes

One Time Registration on the High Court recruitment portal is compulsory before you apply through your dashboard. Check your preview carefully because a submitted application cannot be edited.

If you are applying from abroad, email recruitment.hckerala@nic.in with your location and public IP address so the court can enable portal access; email again after completing your application. Keep the application printout for your records; you do not need to post it or other papers to the High Court.

Responsibilities

  • Carry files and official papers between court sections.
  • Help staff arrange records for routine office work.
  • Support the daily functioning of assigned court offices.
  • Keep work areas and office materials orderly.
  • Handle entrusted papers carefully and protect confidential information.
  • Assist with movement of office supplies within the court establishment.
