Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited (GTDC) is hiring Technical Assistant (Civil) staff for its Project Cell under the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), which works out of Paryatan Bhavan in Patto, Panaji. This is a hands-on civil engineering role: GTDC wants graduates who already have years of practical experience in civil works and can draft in AutoCAD.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Goa residence: You need a valid certificate of 15 years' residence in Goa, issued by the Mamlatdar.
• Who is exempt from the residence rule: children of Goa Government employees working outside the state; a person whose marriage is registered in Goa with someone holding 15 years' residence, where both have lived in Goa continuously for 5 years; and ex-servicemen/women with their spouses and children who have lived in Goa for the last two years after leaving the armed forces. Attach official proof if you claim an exemption.
• Language: Konkani is compulsory; knowledge of Marathi is only desirable.
• Software skill: working knowledge of AutoCAD is part of the essential qualification, not an extra.
• Contract pay: monthly pay is fixed under para 4 of the Goa Department of Personnel Office Memorandum No. 10/1/77-PER of 2015, which governs contract staff.
• Eligibility cut-off: your age, qualification and experience are counted as on the last date for applying.
• Name change: if your name changed after marriage or for any other reason after you earned your qualifications, attach official proof of the change.
• No travel allowance: GTDC pays no TA or any other allowance for attending the interview.
• False information: fake certificates or wrong details lead to disqualification and possible prosecution, even if the problem surfaces after you join. Canvassing in any form also cancels your candidature.
• Right to cancel: the GTDC Board of Directors can cancel the recruitment at any time without giving a reason.

• Posting the form: applications that arrive by post after the due date are not considered, so send it early if you are not delivering by hand.
• Incomplete forms: incomplete or late applications are turned away at the entry counter.
