The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 432/202627 to fill 16 X-Ray Technician, Class-3 posts under the Office of the Additional Director of Public Health, Gandhinagar (Health & Family Welfare Department). This is a special recruitment campaign reserved only for Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) candidates, separate from the general X-Ray Technician drive. An X-Ray Technician runs imaging machines in government hospitals and helps doctors with diagnosis, so it is a stable and respected healthcare role. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) and an X-Ray Technician course from a Government Institute or an NMC-recognised Medical College.
• Computer Knowledge: You must have basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Government rules.
• Language: You should know Gujarati and/or Hindi.
• Category: This drive is only for Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) candidates — you must hold a valid disability certificate.

Age Limit

• Your age should normally be between 18 and 36 years.
• As this is a drive for Divyang candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years (and further as per Gujarat Government rules for reserved categories).
• Age is counted as on the last date of application (13 July 2026).

Salary

• For the first 5 years, you will get a fixed pay of Rs. 40,800 per month.
• After 5 years, you move to Pay Matrix Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400) with DA, HRA and other allowances as per Gujarat Government rules.
• This is a Class-3 government post, so it comes with job stability and regular pay revisions.

Application Fee

• As this is a special recruitment drive for Divyang (PwBD) candidates, applicants are generally exempt from the application fee.

Selection Process (No Interview)

Selection is done in two steps:

1. Written Exam: A single objective-type (MCQ) competitive written test conducted by GSSSB. It is OMR-based and covers general subjects and X-Ray Technician knowledge.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who clear the exam show their degree, X-Ray course certificate, disability certificate and other documents.

There is no interview — the final merit list is prepared from your written exam marks, and selection is confirmed after a clean document check.

2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if you have not already.
