Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Qualification: You must have passed HSC/Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board.
• Equivalent qualification: Approved ITI/NCVT and diploma routes treated as equivalent to Class 12 under Gujarat Government rules may be accepted as mentioned in the notice.
• Computer knowledge: You need basic computer knowledge certificate or equivalent proof as per Gujarat Government rules.

Licence Requirement

• Conductor Licence: You must hold a valid conductor licence issued by the Regional Transport Office.

Salary

• Selected Conductors will get fixed pay of Rs. 26,000 per month for five years.
• During the fixed-pay period, other allowances or benefits are not paid except those allowed under rules.
• After satisfactory completion of five years, candidates can move to the regular Conductor pay structure applicable in GSRTC.

• General category: Rs. 300 + GST
• Reserved categories, all women, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, Ex-Servicemen and PwD candidates: Rs. 200 + GST
• Payment mode: Online through OJAS.
• Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection for GSRTC Conductor is based on the OMR written exam and later verification:

1. OMR Written Exam: 100 questions for 100 marks in 1 hour. There are no minimum passing marks, but candidates with zero or negative marks are not considered for verification.
2. Merit and Document Verification: Candidates are called for document verification in about 1:1.5 ratio or as per GSRTC requirement, based on written exam merit and vacancy category.
3. Certificate Verification: Education, age, conductor licence, badge, computer certificate, category, PwD, ex-servicemen and identity documents are checked.
4. Final Selection: GSRTC prepares provisional selection and waiting lists after verification.
