Gonda AYUSH is hiring 5 part-time Yoga Trainers for Ayurvedic Health and Wellness Centres in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh. There are 2 male trainer posts and 3 female trainer posts. The Office of the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Gonda has issued Notice No. 765/2026-2027 for part-time staff under the National AYUSH Mission. These posts are for AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres running in Gonda district. Local residents will get preference for Yoga Trainer posts at the Health and Wellness Centre level.

The engagement is for one year under the National AYUSH Mission. If the scheme continues, a further engagement may be considered only after a minimum 15-day gap, as stated in the notice. This appointment does not create a claim for regular employment in future.

Vacancy Breakdown

• Yoga Trainer (Male): 2 posts at Banagai and Umri Begumganj AYUSH Health Centres.
• Yoga Trainer (Female): 3 posts at Paras, Pakri and Nagra Buzurg AYUSH Health Centres.

Who Can Apply?

Yoga Trainer Qualification Options

• BNYS option: Preference will be given to candidates with a recognised Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) degree of five and a half years.
• Yoga degree option: You can apply with B.P.Ed (Yoga), B.Sc (Yoga), M.Sc (Yoga) or M.A. (Yoga) and the required experience.
• PG diploma option: You can apply with a PG Diploma in Yoga of at least one year and the required experience.
• Certificate option: You can apply with a Yoga Wellness Instructor certificate from the Yoga Certification Board, New Delhi, along with experience.

Experience and Preference

• Experience: Some qualification routes need 1 year of experience, while the PG diploma route needs 2 years of experience.
• Local preference: Local residents will be preferred for Health and Wellness Centre level Yoga Trainer work.
• Certificate timing: Experience certificates will be counted only after the relevant degree, PG diploma or certificate has been obtained.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 21 years old.
• Maximum age is 65 years.
• Age is counted as on 30 June 2026.

Salary

• Yoga Trainer (Male): Rs. 8,000 per month.
• Yoga Trainer (Female): Rs. 5,000 per month.
• This is a part-time engagement under the National AYUSH Mission.

Application fee: The notice does not mention any application fee. You do need to attach a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 58 postage stamp, because the office asks for it with the application.

Selection Process

Selection will be handled by the office and the selection committee after checking qualification, experience, age and documents.

2. Document Verification: Educational qualification, age, experience and category certificates will be checked.
3. Interview: Interview information will be issued separately by the office.
4. Final Decision: The selection committee's decision will be final for selection or rejection.

Reservation note: Reservation for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates in Uttar Pradesh will follow Government orders wherever applicable. If no suitable candidate is available in a reserved category, selection will be done from available suitable candidates as mentioned in the notice.
