Who Can Apply?
For Assistant Professor - Anaesthesiology (by Transfer on Deputation):
- You must be an officer under the Central/State Government or Union Territory Administration holding an analogous post. The deputation period will ordinarily not exceed three years.
For Assistant Professor - Occupational Therapy:
- Qualification: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (M.Sc/M.OT/MOT) from a recognised university.
- Experience: 3 years of teaching experience in the speciality.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential; Marathi is desirable.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
For Embryologist:
- Qualification: Postgraduate in Clinical Embryology (minimum 4-semester full-time program) with 3 years of human ART lab experience, OR a Ph.D in a related field with 1 year of human ART lab experience, OR MBBS/BVSc with a PG in Clinical Embryology and 2 years of ART lab experience, OR PG in life sciences/biotechnology with 1 year of certified Clinical Embryology training plus 4 years of ART lab experience.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential; Marathi is desirable.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
For Assistant Professor (Plastic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Medical Oncology, Urology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics Medicine):
- Qualification: A recognised medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, plus a postgraduate degree/DM/MCh or equivalent in the concerned speciality from an NMC-recognised institution.
- Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or research experience after your DM/MCh (not required if your DM/MCh is a 3-year programme). Geriatrics Medicine requires 3 years of teaching experience after your PG degree.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential; Marathi is desirable.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
For Veterinary Officer:
- Qualification: Recognised veterinary qualification under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, registered with the Goa State Veterinary Council.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential; Marathi and experience in Cattle/Poultry Development are desirable.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
Age Limit
- Most direct recruitment posts have a maximum age limit of 45 years.
- The Anaesthesiology post (by transfer on deputation) has no fixed age limit — eligibility depends on you already holding an analogous government post.
Salary
- Assistant Professor and Embryologist posts: Pay Matrix Level 11 (approx. Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month).
- Veterinary Officer posts: Pay Matrix Level 7 (approx. Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month).

Selection Process
Goa PSC will select candidates mainly through interview:
- Application Screening: The Commission checks that you meet the minimum essential qualifications for your chosen post.

- Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
