Goa Public Service Commission (Goa PSC) Dental College Lecturer Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

The Goa Public Service Commission (Goa PSC) has released notification number 05 of 2026 for filling up 5 Lecturer posts in three dental specialties at Goa Dental College and Hospital, Public Health Department, Government of Goa. The posts are spread across Pedodontics, Orthodontics, and Community Dentistry/Public Health Dentistry. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable. Selection is based on a written/screening test and interview by the Commission.

• Lecturers in Pedodontics: 1 post (OBC - Non Creamy Layer)
• Lecturers in Orthodontics: 1 post (General)
• Lecturers in Community Dentistry / Public Health Dentistry: 3 posts (1 General, 1 OBC-NCL, 1 ST)

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualifications

• You must hold a qualification listed in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948.
• You must have a Post-Graduate degree in Dentistry (MDS) in the concerned specialty (Pedodontics / Orthodontics / Community Dentistry) from a recognised institution.
• You must be registered with the Dental Council.
• You must have knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable

• One year teaching experience after post-graduation in a recognised institute.
• Three years experience as Registrar / Tutor / Senior Resident / Demonstrator in the concerned specialty in a recognised Dental College or Medical College with Dental Wing.
• Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the last date of application.
• Age relaxation will be given to SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen as per Goa Government rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700 per month) as per the 7th Pay Commission.
• You will also get DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, NPA and other allowances as per Goa Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done by the Goa Public Service Commission in the following stages:

1. Online Application Screening: The Commission will check eligibility and shortlist candidates.
2. Screening / Written Test: If the number of applications is large, a screening test may be held to shortlist candidates for the interview.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview by Goa PSC.
4. Document Verification: Original documents (degree, registration, age proof, caste certificate) will be verified before final selection.
