GBU Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Gautam Buddha University (GBU) is recruiting faculty across its schools in Greater Noida. The notice brings Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor appointments together, with subject-specific openings across science, engineering, humanities and professional programmes.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial appointment: you begin with one year of contract-cum-probation service. The university may extend probation by up to one further year.
• Leaving during probation: either you or the university can end the appointment with one month's notice or one month's salary instead of notice.
• Reservation: Uttar Pradesh rules govern OBC reservation. EWS reservation follows the cited central government rules; an invalid EWS claim can cancel your candidature or appointment.
• Existing public-sector employment: applying through the proper channel matters for counting previous service and protecting pay. Those benefits remain subject to the applicable rules.
• University discretion: GBU may change the number of positions, leave advertised posts unfilled or prepare panels for cases where selected candidates do not join.
• Application changes: once your form reaches GBU, requests to change the post or add new information will not be accepted.
• Travel: you must meet your own interview travel and daily expenses. The university will not pay TA/DA.
• Communication: interview invitations go by email. Recruitment updates and any amendments appear on the university website, so you need to follow both channels.
