Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need MBBS and MD/MS degrees along with valid Medical Council registration, as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) norms and Uttarakhand Government policy for the post you are applying for.
• Mandatory Certificates: For Professor and Associate Professor posts, you must have completed the Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) and Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR).
• Reservation: Category-wise reservation applies as per Uttarakhand Government rules.

Salary

• Professor: Rs. 2,25,000 per month, with an annual increment of Rs. 6,000.
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,65,000 per month, with an annual increment of Rs. 6,000.
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,25,000 per month, with an annual increment of Rs. 3,600.
• Radiodiagnosis posts carry a higher pay scale: Professor Rs. 3,50,000, Associate Professor Rs. 2,80,000, and Assistant Professor Rs. 1,84,000 per month, as per a Government Order dated 2 September 2024.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection happens directly through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam:

1. Document Screening: The Interview Committee checks your documents on the spot; the Chairman can accept or reject any application without giving a reason.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held at the Administrative Block, Government Medical College Campus, Haridwar, under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, HNBU Medical Education University.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

2. Carry your resume along with original MBBS and MD/MS degree certificates.
3. Bring your Medical Council Registration Certificate.
4. Carry your BCME and BCBR course completion certificates (mandatory for Professor and Associate Professor posts).
5. Bring your undergraduate/postgraduate teaching experience certificates and other relevant documents.
6. Carry 2 recent passport-size color photographs along with a set of photocopies of all documents.
