Government General Hospital (GGH) Piduguralla and Government Medical College (GMC) Piduguralla under the Health Medical and Family Welfare Department, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh have announced 211 vacancies across 27 different posts. Out of these, 169 posts are at GGH Piduguralla and 42 posts are at GMC Piduguralla. Who Can Apply?

For General Duty Attendant, Office Subordinate, Store Attender, Mortuary Attendant (Outsourcing - Rs. 15,000/month):

• You must have passed SSC / 10th class or its equivalent from a recognised board.

For Lab Attendant (Outsourcing - Rs. 15,000/month):

• You must have passed 10th class and hold a Lab Attendant Course certificate or Intermediate (Lab Attendance Vocational course) from the Board of Intermediate Education, AP.

For Store Keepers (Outsourcing - Rs. 18,500/month):

• You need a Graduation in any discipline plus a PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA).

For EM Technician (Contract - Rs. 37,640/month):

• You need Intermediate plus B.Sc Emergency Medical Technology / B.Sc EMST from a recognised institution. APPMB registration is mandatory.

For ECG Technician, Lab Technician, Anaesthesia Technician (Contract - Rs. 32,670/month):

• ECG Technician: Intermediate + Diploma in ECG Technician course. APPMB registration required.
• Lab Technician: DMLT or B.Sc (MLT), or Intermediate (VOC) with 1-year apprenticeship in Govt. Hospitals. APPMB registration required.
• Anaesthesia Technician: Intermediate with Science + 2-year Diploma in Anesthesia Technician. APPMB registration required.

For Computer Programmer, Network Administrator, System Administrator (Contract - Rs. 34,580/month):

• Computer Programmer: B.E/B.Tech in IT/CS, or MCA, or PG in Computer Science/IT, plus 3 years experience.
• Network Administrator: B.E/B.Tech in IT/CS/ECE, or MCA, or PG in CS/IT, plus 3 years experience.
• System Administrator: B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE with minimum 2 years experience.

For Child Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist (Contract - Rs. 54,060/month):

• Child Psychologist: MA (Psychology) + PG Diploma in Child Psychology and Family Relations or M.Ed/B.Ed + M.Phil (Psychology).
• Clinical Psychologist: MA (Psychology) + PG Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology + M.Phil in Clinical Psychology. Must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India.

For Other Technical Posts:

• Radiographic Technician: Certificate in CRA/DRGA/DMIT + AP Paramedical Board registration.
• Operation Theatre Technician: Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management & OT Technician. APPMB registration required.
• Speech Therapist: Bachelor degree + Diploma/Certificate in Speech Therapy.
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy + APPMB registration.
• Library Assistants: Intermediate + CLISc (Certificate in Library Science).
• Dental Technician: Intermediate + Dental Mechanic course (Dental Council of India recognised) + AP State Dental Council registration.
• Audio Visual Technician: MCA or B.Tech (ECE/CSE/IT).
• Biomedical Technician: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering/Instrumentation.
• Audiometry Technician: Intermediate + B.Sc Audiology/Diploma in Audiometry or BASLP degree.
• Medical Record Technician: Intermediate + Diploma in Computer Applications.
• Refractionist: Intermediate (Science) + Refractionist training certificate from School of Optometry.
• Psychiatric Social Worker: MA/MSW in Medical Psychiatric Social Work + M.Phil/Ph.D in Psychiatric Social Work.

Candidates must belong to erstwhile Guntur district. Qualifications must be obtained as on the date of notification (25-03-2026).

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 42 years as on 25 March 2026 (date of notification).
• SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years relaxation (up to 47 years).
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years relaxation plus the length of service in armed forces.
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years relaxation.
• Maximum age with all relaxations combined cannot exceed 52 years.

Salary

• Outsourcing Posts (GDA, Office Subordinate, Lab Attendant, Store Attender, Mortuary Attendant): Rs. 15,000 per month
• Store Keepers: Rs. 18,500 per month
• Library Assistants: Rs. 20,600 per month
• Operation Theatre Technician: Rs. 22,460 per month
• ECG/Lab/Anaesthesia/Biomedical/Audiometry/Dental/Audio Visual Technician: Rs. 32,670 per month
• Computer Programmer/Network Admin/System Admin/MRT: Rs. 34,580 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is based on merit with a total of 100 marks:

1. Academic Merit (75 marks): 75% of aggregate marks in all years of qualifying examination.
2. Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): 1 mark per completed year after acquiring the required qualification.
3. Contract/Outsourcing Service Weightage (up to 15 marks): Based on previous service in government hospitals including COVID-19 service. Area-wise weightage: 2.5 marks per 6 months (Tribal), 2.0 marks per 6 months (Rural), 1.0 mark per 6 months (Urban).

Final Merit = Academic Marks + Experience Marks + Service Weightage

5. Submit the filled application at the Office of the Principal, Guntur Medical College, Guntur either in person or by Registered Post.
6. Get a dated acknowledgement receipt from the receiving authority.
