The Government of Andhra Pradesh, through the Health Medical and Family Welfare Department and the District Selection Committee, Guntur, is hiring for various technical, paramedical, and support positions at the newly established Government General Hospital and Government Medical College in Piduguralla. Combined counselling will be held for both institutions, and you can choose only one institution during counselling. Important: District jurisdiction is for erstwhile Guntur district only. You must have local candidature for the Guntur district area. Candidates from Telangana must submit local candidature certificate as per GO No. 132 & 133.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 42 years (as on the date of notification, i.e., 25 March 2026)
• SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates: 5 years relaxation (up to 47 years)
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years relaxation + length of service in armed forces
• Differently abled persons (PwD): 10 years relaxation
• Absolute maximum age with all relaxations combined: 52 years

Salary

• Highest salary: Rs. 54,060 per month — Child Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist
• Speech Therapist / Refractionist / EM Technician: Rs. 37,640 - Rs. 40,970 per month
• Physiotherapist / Radiographic Technician: Rs. 35,570 per month
• Computer Programmer / Network Administrator / System Administrator / MRT: Rs. 34,580 per month
• Lab Technician / ECG Technician / Anaesthesia Technician / Biomedical / Dental / Audiometry / Audio Visual Technician: Rs. 32,670 per month
• Psychiatric Social Worker: Rs. 38,720 per month
• OT Technician: Rs. 22,460 per month
• Library Assistants: Rs. 20,600 per month
• Store Keepers: Rs. 18,500 per month
• General Duty Attendant / Office Subordinate / Lab Attendant / Store Attender / Mortuary Attendant: Rs. 15,000 per month

These are fixed monthly remuneration amounts. The tenure is initially one year from the date of joining, extendable based on government orders.

Application Fee

• OC and BC candidates: Rs. 300
• SC/ST/EWS/Physically Challenged candidates: Rs. 200

Fee must be paid through a demand draft in favour of "College Development Society, GMC Guntur". Enclose the DD with your application form.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is entirely merit-based on a total of 100 marks:

1. Academic Marks (75% weightage): 75% of the aggregate marks you scored in all years of the qualifying examination
2. Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): 1 mark per completed year of experience after getting the required qualification
3. COVID-19 Service Weightage (up to 15%): For candidates who worked on contract/outsourcing during COVID-19, certified by the competent authority. If service was less than 6 months, 0.8 marks per completed month will be given
4. Location-based Weightage: 2.5 marks per 6 months in tribal areas, 2.0 marks per 6 months in rural areas, 1.0 mark per 6 months in urban areas
5. Document Verification: All shortlisted candidates must submit self-attested copies of certificates during counselling
