Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Medical Officer posts at ESIS Hospital Thane, you need:

• Qualification: M.B.B.S. Degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC)
• Registration: Valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) or any State/National Medical Council
• For Specialist posts (Physician, Surgeon, OBG, Ortho, Dental, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics, Radiology): Post-graduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty is preferred

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 65 years
• Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Government of Maharashtra rules

Salary

• Monthly Salary: Rs. 75,000/- (consolidated, per month)
• This is a fixed consolidated payment — no separate DA, HRA, or other allowances are provided
• The contract is for 1 year, extendable based on performance and need

• However, selected candidates must purchase a Rs. 100/- stamp paper for signing the Agreement of Terms and Conditions before joining

Selection Process

The selection will be done through a walk-in interview only. There is no written exam for these posts.

2. Personal Interview: You will appear before a selection panel for an interview
3. Merit List: Based on your interview performance and qualifications, a merit list will be prepared
4. Appointment: Selected candidates must join within 7 days from the date of the offer letter

Important: Reservation for various categories will be applied as per Government of Maharashtra (GOM) rules. Candidates claiming reservation under OBC category should submit their non-creamy layer certificate in the prescribed format.

• Examine and treat patients at the ESIS Hospital or assigned dispensary in Thane
• Handle OPD and IPD duties as per the roster assigned by the Administrative Medical Officer
• Keep accurate medical records and maintain patient case files
• Assist senior doctors during surgeries, procedures, and emergency cases
• Follow all clinical protocols, standard operating procedures, and infection control guidelines
• Manage referrals to higher centres and coordinate with tie-up hospitals for secondary care
• Participate in health awareness camps and preventive health programs for insured workers
• Prepare periodic reports on patient statistics, treatments, and medical supplies used
