The Office of the Administrative Medical Officer, Maharashtra Employees State Insurance Society (MH-ESIS), Bibvewadi, Pune, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 dated 14 May 2026 inviting walk-in applications for 29 contractual Medical Officer (Group A) posts. The posts will be filled at AMO Office Pune and ESI Dispensaries across 27 locations including Chinchwad, Bhosari, Hadapsar, Pirangut, Daund, Chakan, Alandi, Talegaon, Lonavala, Baramati, and more. Selection is purely through walk-in interview — no written exam.

If a suitable candidate from the specific reservation category is not available, an eligible candidate from another category may be appointed on a temporary basis for up to 6 months as per the Bindu Namavali roster.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS from a recognised university or institute.
• Registration: Valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) is mandatory. Renewed registration must also be submitted if applicable.
• Local Language: Adequate knowledge of Marathi is essential.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations is essential.

Age Limit

• Age must be less than 68 years as on the date of walk-in interview.

Salary

• Selected candidates will be paid consolidated remuneration on a contractual basis as per the Maharashtra Government Resolution dated 29 May 2020, as amended from time to time.
• Note: No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or for joining duty. Only Casual Leave is admissible during the contract. There is no PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, seniority, or promotion under this contractual engagement.

Application Fee

• No application fee is mentioned in this walk-in interview notification.
• However, after selection you must deposit a Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000 with the Administrative Medical Officer, MH-ESIS Pune. This is refundable after completion of contract and submission of No Dues Certificate.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely through walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on every second and fourth Wednesday of each month between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the Office of the Administrative Medical Officer, Panchdeep Bhavan, Sr. No. 689/90, Bibvewadi, Pune – 411037.
2. Document Verification: Carry all original documents for verification at the time of interview.
3. Final Selection: Selection is based purely on performance in the walk-in interview by the duly constituted selection committee.

If the scheduled Wednesday is a public holiday, the walk-in interview will be conducted on the immediately succeeding working day.

• Provide general medical care and OPD services to ESIC beneficiaries at the AMO Office and assigned ESI Dispensaries
• Diagnose, treat, and prescribe medicines for insured persons and their dependents
• Maintain accurate patient case records and update medical history in the dispensary register
• Refer complicated cases to ESIC tie-up hospitals or specialist consultants as required
• Compulsorily organise and attend health camps in the jurisdiction of MH-ESIS Pune
• Assist in inspection of hospitals, dispensaries, and other establishments under AMO Pune jurisdiction
• Follow ESIC medical protocols, MH-ESIS service rules, and Maharashtra Government directives
• Submit duty reports and certificates required for insured persons' benefit claims
