ESIC Kota Specialist and Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 - 15 Posts

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital Kota has released a walk-in notice for 8 Contractual Specialist posts and 7 Senior Resident posts in different medical departments. The engagement is purely on contract basis, and the hospital can increase, decrease, fill, or cancel posts as per actual need on the interview date. There is no written exam for this recruitment; selection is through document checking and interview performance.

Category-wise total: UR - 8, OBC - 5, SC - 2, EWS - 0, ST - 0. The hospital says the vacancy count may change as per actual requirement on the interview date, so carry all papers even if your preferred department has only one seat.

Who Can Apply?

For Senior Resident (3 Years)

• Qualification: You need DM/PG/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university.
• Registration: You must be registered with MCI or a State Medical Council.
• Tenure: Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable yearly up to 3 years based on requirement and work performance.

For Contractual Specialist (Full Time / Part Time)

• Qualification: You need DM/PG/DNB/Diploma in the required specialty.
• Experience after PG/DNB: You need 3 years of relevant work experience in a responsible specialty-linked role.
• Experience after Diploma: You need 5 years of relevant work experience in the concerned specialty.
• DM qualification: No experience is required for DM in the concerned specialty.
• Preference: ESIC will prefer PG candidates where available.

Age Limit

• Senior Resident (3 Years): Maximum age is 45 years.
• Contractual Specialist: Age should not exceed 69 years as on the reporting date for interview.
• Age relaxation: Reservation and relaxation will apply as per Government of India rules.
• OBC certificate note: OBC candidates need a valid Central Government format certificate showing non-creamy layer status after 1 April 2025.

Salary

• Senior Resident (3 Years): Salary is as per 7th CPC Level 11.
• Full Time Specialist: Fixed salary of Rs. 1,21,408 per month.
• Part Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000 per month for 16 hours per week.
• Emergency visit / extra hours: Part Time Specialists can get Rs. 15,000 for emergency calls and Rs. 800 per extra hour beyond 16 hours per week.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through document verification and interview at ESIC Hospital Kota:

1. Document Verification: Report at Room No. 47 by 9:00 AM with your original documents and copies.
2. Walk-in Interview: The interview starts from 10:00 AM onwards on 2 June 2026.
3. Minimum Interview Marks: You need at least 50% marks in the interview for selection.
4. Final Decision: The Medical Superintendent may fill any post, leave posts vacant, or cancel the process at any stage.

If selected, you may need to join as per hospital instructions and sign a contract agreement on Rs. 500 non-judicial stamp paper. Selected candidates also need to deposit Rs. 25,000 security money by Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Fund Account No. 1, payable at Kota.
