ESIC Jhilmil Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 — 15 Posts

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital at Jhilmil, Delhi-110095, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, has announced a walk-in interview for 15 Contractual Senior Resident posts. The appointment is for a period of 39 days, extendable for another 39 days with at least 1 working day break-in service, subject to satisfactory performance and vacancy availability. No written exam — selection is entirely based on the walk-in interview. Doctors with PG qualifications in the relevant specialty are encouraged to apply.

Note: These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease as per actual patient care requirements. The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to alter the date, cancel the interview, or fill up all or none of the vacancies at any stage.

Who Can Apply?

• Primary Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or equivalent as per the residency scheme in the concerned specialty, from a recognised University/Institution, registered with the Delhi Medical Council.
• Alternate Qualification: If PG degree/DNB/Diploma holders are not available, candidates with MBBS and 2 years of total experience (of which at least 1 year must be in the concerned specialty from a Govt. Hospital or Private Hospital — not a private clinic) may also be considered.
• Registration: You must be registered with Delhi Medical Council at the time of interview and at the time of joining.
• Other Conditions: Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency period in any hospital are not eligible. Part-time engagement in two ESIC hospitals simultaneously is not allowed.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of interview (23 April 2026).
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,48,669 per month plus Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance, as per ESIC Hqrs. orders.
• Deduction of Rs. 1,688/- if the Senior Resident holds only a Diploma (not PG Degree/DNB).
• Deduction of Rs. 2,813/- if the Senior Resident does not possess a PG Degree/Diploma at all.
• Salary will be revised as per Government of India/ESIC Headquarters orders from time to time.
• No claim for regularisation, PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or leave.

Application Fee

• UR / OBC: Rs. 300/- (Demand Draft, Non-Refundable, payable at New Delhi in favour of ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO – 1).
• SC / ST / Female / PwD: No fee.
• Candidates who do not bring the required DD will not be entertained as applicants.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a single-stage walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Bring all original documents at 9:00 AM sharp on 23 April 2026 at I.G. ESIC Hospital, Jhilmil, Delhi-110095. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
2. Document Verification: Original certificates are checked on the spot before the interview.
3. Medical Fitness Check: Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit.

Note: Candidates working in any Govt./Private Hospital/Institute must produce an NOC from their department at the time of interview.

How to Apply

2. Prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (if applicable) in favour of ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO – 1, payable at New Delhi.
3. Also prepare a separate DD of Rs. 10,000/- (security deposit, refundable) in favour of ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO – 1 — bring this only if selected.
4. Bring your filled application proforma along with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
5. Appear in person at I.G. ESIC Hospital, Jhilmil, Delhi-110095 at 9:00 AM sharp on 23 April 2026.
6. No hostel or quarter facility is provided. Make your own travel and stay arrangements.

• Handle clinical duties in the assigned specialty department (Anesthesia/ICU, Pediatrics/NICU, Gynae, Orthopedics, or Dermatology)
• Assist senior consultants during ward rounds, procedures, surgeries, and emergencies
• Monitor inpatients and manage critical cases as directed by the Head of Department
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment sheets, and discharge summaries
• Follow ESIC hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and safety standards
• Attend to outpatient duties and emergency calls as rostered
• Participate in department academic activities and CME programmes when required
