Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital Bibvewadi has released this notice as a follow-up to Advertisement No. 01/2026. Some posts remained vacant and some new requirements came up, so ESIC will fill the current vacancies through a one-day walk-in interview at the Medical Superintendent's office in Pune. There is no fixed written exam pattern in the notice; selection is mainly through document checking and interview performance.

The recruitment is for contractual engagement, not regular permanent service. Senior Resident posts are available for 3-year and 1-year tenures, Specialist posts may be full time or part time, and Medical Officer posts are linked to DCBO locations in Maharashtra. Who Can Apply?

Senior Resident (3 Years and 1 Year)

• Basic qualification: You need MBBS from an institution recognised by NMC/MCI/Maharashtra Medical Council.
• PG qualification: You need MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognised medical institution.
• Registration: You must have valid NMC or Maharashtra Medical Council registration.
• Fallback condition: If PG or Diploma doctors are not available, ESIC may consider MBBS doctors with 2 years of experience, including 1 year in the concerned specialty.

Full Time / Part Time Specialist

• Qualification: You need MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma in the relevant specialty.
• Experience after PG Degree: You need 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty.
• Experience after PG Diploma: You need 5 years of experience in the concerned specialty.
• Registration: NMC or Maharashtra Medical Council registration is required.

Medical Officer

• Qualification: You need a recognised MBBS degree and completion of compulsory rotating internship.
• Registration: You must be registered with NMC or Maharashtra Medical Council.
• Work location: Posting can be at ESIC DCBOs in Maharashtra or ESIC Hospital Bibvewadi, as per need.

Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Maximum age is 45 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Full Time / Part Time Specialist: Age should not exceed 69 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Medical Officer: Maximum age is 35 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Age relaxation: Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Senior Resident: Pay starts at Rs. 67,700 per month in Pay Level 11, plus DA, HRA, NPA, TA and other allowances as applicable.
• Full Time Specialist: Pay starts at Rs. 67,700 per month in Level 11, plus applicable allowances.
• Part Time Specialist: Fixed pay is Rs. 60,000 per month for 16 hours per week.
• Part Time extra work: Emergency visits carry Rs. 15,000, and approved extra hours carry Rs. 800 per hour.
• Medical Officer: Pay starts at Rs. 56,100 per month in Pay Level 10, plus admissible allowances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be handled through walk-in scrutiny and interview at ESIC Hospital Bibvewadi:

1. Application and Document Scrutiny: Submit the prescribed form, fee Demand Draft if applicable, originals and one set of self-attested copies.
2. Interview: Only candidates found suitable after document checking can appear before the selection board.
3. Possible Screening: If too many people report, ESIC may use shortlisting or a screening test before the interview.
4. Medical Fitness and Joining: Final selection is subject to medical fitness, offer of appointment and joining within the time given by ESIC.
