EMRS Pallong Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Pallong is building its non-teaching team for the residential campus at Tamei in Tamenglong district. The school works under the National Education Society for Tribal Students, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and this drive covers administration, nursing, hostel care, catering, security, sanitation, maintenance and transport. Every engagement is outsourced for the academic session and does not create a claim to a regular post.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Accountant: handles school accounts, records and day-to-day use of accounting software.
  • Staff Nurse: provides first-line nursing support and keeps student health records at the residential campus.
  • Hostel Wardens: separate male and female roles oversee hostel routines, student welfare and residential discipline.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant: supports office correspondence, typing, computer work and record keeping.
  • Mess Helper and Cooks: support meal preparation, kitchen organisation and safe food service for resident students.
  • Chowkidar/Security: watches the campus, controls access and reports safety concerns.
  • Sweeper: keeps classrooms, hostels and common areas clean and sanitary.
  • Electrician-cum-Plumber: attends to routine electrical and plumbing faults across the campus.
  • Driver: drives and looks after the school vehicle for authorised duties.

Post-wise Duties

Office and Accounts

The Accountant and Junior Secretariat Assistant will keep accurate financial and administrative records, prepare routine correspondence and support the school office. Computer confidence matters because both roles deal with digital records, while the assistant role also involves regular typing.

Health and Hostel Care

The Staff Nurse and Hostel Wardens will help keep the residential environment safe and orderly. You may coordinate with students, school staff and local health services, while maintaining records and responding calmly when a student needs support.

Food and Campus Services

The kitchen, security, sanitation and maintenance teams will keep daily campus services running. Their work ranges from preparing meals and guarding the premises to cleaning shared spaces and fixing basic electrical or plumbing problems.

Transport

The Driver will support authorised school travel, keep the vehicle serviceable and follow the route and safety instructions given by the school.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: The engagement lasts for the academic session 2026-27 or until NESTS posts regular staff, whichever happens first.
  • Status: Outsourced staff cannot claim regular appointment or permanent absorption because of this engagement.
  • Pay approval: The stated monthly rates are proposed under current EMRS-aligned outsourcing rates and remain subject to the approved budget and competent-authority clearance.
  • Vacancy position: The school may increase, reduce, postpone, restrict or cancel posts according to its actual requirement.
  • Attendance cost: You must attend the selection process at your own expense.
