Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU and one of India's leading total-solutions engineering consultancy companies, has released a notification to engage 22 trained modellers with CADMATIC expertise across six engineering disciplines. These are fixed-term contract posts for 2 years, with the primary place of posting at the National Capital Region (NCR), though you may be asked to work anywhere in India or abroad depending on project needs. No written exam is required — selection is through screening of your online application followed by an in-person selection process at EIL's Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata, or Vadodara offices. Note that this hiring is purely on a fixed-term basis — there is no claim for regular appointment in EIL by virtue of having worked on a fixed-term basis, and the engagement automatically ends when the 2-year term expires.

Who Can Apply?

For Diploma Holders:

• Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Structural) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI.
• At least 6 years of experience in S3D/E3D/CADMATIC or AutoCAD & Smart P&ID software, including a minimum of 1 year of CADMATIC/Smart P&ID modelling experience.

For BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) Holders:

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI.
• At least 4 years of experience in S3D/E3D/CADMATIC software, including a minimum of 1 year of CADMATIC modelling experience.

Your qualification and experience are counted as on 31 July 2026, and your degree or diploma must have been earned within the prescribed minimum course duration. For the Civil discipline (Position E1/E2), EIL prefers candidates with experience modelling roads, storm water drainage systems, and underground/above-ground piping.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 33 years for all positions, as on 31 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwD-OBC (NCL), and 15 years for PwD-SC/ST candidates.
• Age relaxation also applies for Persons with Disabilities (10 years) and Ex-Servicemen as per rules.

Salary

• You get a consolidated monthly remuneration (inclusive of HRA & PF) of Rs. 72,600 in X category cities, Rs. 69,500 in Y category cities, and Rs. 66,500 in Z category cities.
• You also get medical insurance reimbursement up to Rs. 2,00,000 per annum for yourself, out-of-pocket expense reimbursement for working beyond standard hours, coverage under EIL's GPAI (Group Personal Accident Insurance) Scheme, travel allowance for official duties outside your place of posting, and 2 days of paid leave for every completed month.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

EIL will select candidates in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Your application and certificates are checked on the day of selection to confirm you meet the eligibility criteria. Only candidates meeting all requirements move to the next stage.
2. In-Person Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates report at EIL's Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata, or Vadodara office at 8:00 AM on the date and venue intimated to you separately by email.
3. Medical Fitness Check: You are allowed to join only if found medically fit.

Depending on the number of candidates, the selection process may continue up to 8:00 PM and, if required, extend to the next day — in which case you will need to arrange your own stay. Carry your online registration printout with a valid registration number; applications without it will not be entertained.
