DRDO DRL Tezpur Junior Research Fellowship Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), Tezpur, a unit of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has invited applications for 5 JRF positions to work on ongoing and future research projects. The selection will be done through a walk-in interview at DRL, Solmara Military Station, Dekargaon, Tezpur, Assam. Young and motivated pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences postgraduates can apply for this two-year fellowship that may be extended up to four years.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Pharm / M.S (Pharm) / M.Tech (Pharm) / M.Tech in Pharmaceutics / Pharmacology & Toxicology / Pharmacology / Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Degree Status: Only candidates with degree or provisional degree certificate are eligible to apply
• Government Employees: If you are working in a Government Department, PSU, or Autonomous Body, you must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at the time of interview

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 28 years (as on the date of interview)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates

Stipend

• Stipend: Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per rules
• Tenure: Initially for 2 years; may be upgraded to SRF and extended for 3rd and 4th year based on performance

Application Fee

• No application fee is charged.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining.

Selection Process

The selection is based on a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 19 May 2026 at DRL, DRDO, Solmara Military Station, Dekargaon, Tezpur, Assam.
2. Document Verification: You must produce original certificates, testimonials and AADHAR card at the time of interview. Carry one photocopy set of all documents along with your application.

Admission will be closed after 1000 hrs on the interview day.

5. Carry all original documents to the walk-in interview at DRL, Tezpur on 19 May 2026.
6. Reporting time is 0930 to 1000 hrs.
