The Office of the District Judge, Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh is re-engaging retired court employees as Junior Assistants (Kanishtha Sahayak) in the Bijnor judgeship. This is not an open recruitment for fresh candidates — it follows the High Court's circular No. 14/Admin D Section dated 15 October 2022, which lets district courts fill clerical gaps by re-employing staff who have already retired from district court service.

If you retired from District Court Bijnor or from another district court and you are still fit and willing to work, this is a chance to return to familiar desk work. The engagement is temporary and stops as soon as a regular appointment or promotion fills the post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Who it is for: Only employees who have retired from a district court can apply. The notice does not open these posts to outside candidates.
• Tenure: Your term runs from the day you join until a new appointment or promotion fills the post, or for one year, and in no case beyond the day you turn 65 — whichever comes first.
• Retirees from other districts: If you retired from a court other than Bijnor, you must attach your character roll (ACR) entries for the last five years with the form.
• Pay papers: The form asks for the last pay drawn on your final post, backed by your last pay certificate and last pension certificate.
• Declaration: You sign that you are fully healthy and able to work, that you have hidden no facts, and that no criminal case is pending or registered against you.
