The District Health Society (Mavatta Nalavazhvu Sangam), Dindigul, under the Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu, has released a notification to fill 1 Genetic Counsellor post on a contract basis. This post is for work in the tribal (malaivaazh) area of Palani in Dindigul district. The candidate must belong to a tribal community — preferably from the same district — so they can understand and connect with the local tribal population better. This is an offline application drive.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology or Social Work, OR a Diploma in GNM, OR a B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognised University or institution.
• Community: You must belong to a tribal community. Preference is given to candidates from the same district.
• Local Preference: Candidates who belong to Dindigul district will be given priority.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 21,000 per month.
• This is a fixed monthly amount for the contract period.
