District Health Society Tiruchirappalli (DHS) Multipurpose Health Worker Recruitment 2026 - 30 Posts

The District Health Society, Tiruchirappalli, has released a notification to fill 30 Multipurpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade II) posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) on a purely temporary contract basis. These posts are sanctioned for 11 months and will never be made permanent, so this is best suited for candidates who already hold the required health inspector training and want field-level public health experience. Selected candidates will be posted within the district and will not be eligible for a transfer once appointed.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed Plus Two (12th) with Biology, or with Botany and Zoology.
• Language: You must have studied Tamil as a subject at the 10th standard (SSLC) level.
• Training: You need a 2-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Sanitary Inspector / Health Inspector training course certificate from a recognized private institution, trust, university, or deemed university (including Gandhigram Rural Institute), granted by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 17,500 per month on a temporary contract basis.
