DCPU Pudukkottai Counsellor Recruitment 2026: Overview

The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Pudukkottai, working under the Department of Children Welfare and Special Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, is looking for women Counsellors. You will give counselling support to the children who live at the Annai Sathya Ammaiyar Government Children's Home in Pudukkottai district. The notice comes from the District Collector, Pudukkottai.

This is an honorarium-based, session-wise engagement, not a regular government post. You are paid for the visits you make, so it works as a part-time commitment alongside other work. Only women can apply, and you need a postgraduate degree in Psychology and Counselling.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Women only: Both posts are open only to women candidates.
• Paid per visit: The honorarium is paid on the basis of your actual attendance, and it already includes your travel costs. There is no separate transport allowance.
• Session cap: Each counsellor can take up to nine sessions a month, and payment is limited to 108 days in a year.
• Late applications: Applications that reach the office after the last date will not be accepted.
