The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Solan district, Himachal Pradesh is re-engaging 4 retired Naib-Tehsildars on a temporary basis. This is only for retired officials of the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department who have put in at least 5 years of service. You will get a fixed pay of Rs. 60,000 per month. Deputy Commissioner Solan Naib-Tehsildar Re-engagement 2026 - 4 Posts

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) has invited applications to re-engage 4 retired Naib-Tehsildars against vacant posts in Solan district on a remuneration basis. This is not a fresh recruitment — it is meant for officers and officials who have already retired from the Revenue Department of Himachal Pradesh. The engagement will first be for 3 months and may be extended based on your performance and the department's need.

Please keep in mind that this engagement is purely temporary and can be ended at any time. The period of re-engagement will not count towards any pension or service benefits. You will get one day of casual leave after completing one month of service, and no other kind of leave is allowed. You will continue to get medical facilities as per the rules that apply to regular counterparts.

Who Can Apply?

• Service: You must have completed a minimum of 5 years of service in any wing of the Revenue Department of Himachal Pradesh before your superannuation (retirement).
• Clean record: No departmental or disciplinary proceedings should be pending against you. You must submit a certificate to this effect from your parent department.
• Medical fitness: You must submit a medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital along with the application form.
• Posting: You may be posted against any vacant post in Solan district, but not in your home Sub Division.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 65 years of age as on 15 July 2026.
• If the number of applications is more than the vacancies, candidates who are junior in age will be given preference.

Salary

• You will get a fixed pay of Rs. 60,000 per month as a retired Naib-Tehsildar.
• You will also be entitled to TA/DA for official tours at the same rate as regular Naib-Tehsildars, at the minimum of the pay scale.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following way:

1. Screening by Committee: Eligible applications are considered by a committee, which recommends candidates for engagement.
2. Age Preference: If applications exceed the 4 vacancies, candidates who are junior in age are preferred.
3. Medical Fitness: You must produce a medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.

How to Apply

2. Fill in the form and attach all supporting documents and certificates.
3. Attach the service certificate from your parent department and the medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.
4. Submit the completed application so that it reaches the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Solan on or before 15 July 2026 (5:00 PM).

Applications received after the last date or found incomplete will be rejected without any further intimation, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
