CNCI Security Guard Recruitment 2026 - 10 Posts

Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata has issued Advertisement No. CNCI/Outsourcing/2026/Security to recruit 10 Security Guards for its two Kolkata campuses through the manpower outsourcing agency M/s Smart Security of India. No specific educational qualification is required for this post, making it accessible to ex-servicemen and security personnel looking for a stable assignment at a central government institute. The engagement is initially for up to one year at a time; at the end of this period, the Institute will assess performance and requirement before deciding on any extension.

Since candidates are hired through the outsourcing agency and not directly by CNCI, you will not have any claim to regular employment at the Institute - your engagement, salary and benefits will be managed by M/s Smart Security of India. CNCI also reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any time without assigning a reason, and to fill only some or none of the advertised posts if it deems necessary.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: No formal educational qualification is specified for this post.
• Preference: Ex-servicemen, ex-policemen, or ex-paramilitary personnel are preferred.
• All qualifications and experience claimed must be recognised in law and relevant to the post.
• You should have no pending vigilance or disciplinary case, and should not have been convicted by any Court of Law in India or abroad.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit is 55 years, reckoned as on the closing date of the advertisement.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates with higher experience get age relaxation equal to their extra years of experience beyond the minimum criteria.

Salary

• Pay will be as per the Central Minimum Wage, paid through the outsourcing agency.
• You will also get PF, ESIC and other statutory benefits as applicable.

Selection Process

1. Screening of Applications: Done by a duly constituted Screening Committee based on eligibility and relevance of qualification/experience.
2. Selection Committee Review: Final selection is recommended by the Selection Committee; the Director, CNCI is the competent authority to finalise engagement.

Only shortlisted and selected candidates will be contacted. No TA/DA will be paid for the selection process, and canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
